2H/1M [ADV] Freedom Summit Trek

Thank you to our guide Adi (Ariadi) and our porters Swan and Dodu for an amazing experience conquering Mount Rinjani! Adi was really helpful and very friendly, keeping us going when the going got tough. All the meals were delicious and high-energy, giving us the fuel for the next section of the Trek. Thanks to Dodu and Swan. The trek itself was wonderful, such a beautiful volcano to climb, the crater rim and lake is spectacular, and watching the sunrise from the summit after a very tiring nighttime climb under the stars was an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone at Lombok-Indonesia for such a lovely experience!

This company is organised, helpful and their communication is great before, during and after the hike. I recommend this company if you want to do this hike. However, I suggest anyone interested in doing the hike is fit and has experience in hiking as it is very challenging, especially the final ascent to the summit. The views are spectacular and unforgettable and worth it!

Sting, Ari and Ricki were great guides and porters! They were supportive and helpful at every stage, always smiling, happy and up for a chat. Sting ensured our safety while Ari and Ricki provided sizeable, delicious and nutritious meals and carried all our gear- thanks guys! The equipment was in good condition and we were very thankful to have chairs to sit on- such a luxury item when hiking.

I booked the 2 day 1 night summit trek and had an excellent time. I was a solo traveller and felt so welcomed by Hill at the homestay the night before. I felt well informed and breasted the night before with plentey of opportunity to ask questions. My guide Yot was amazing. He was great company during the walk and kept the whole group entertained, motivated and informed about the hike. The porters also were excellent and made some incredible food. We were very well fed the entire time. The hike was difficult but everyone involved helped me feel super supported.

I just completed a 2-day, 1-night hike of the breathtaking Mount Rinjani, and I can’t express how incredible this experience was, largely thanks to our fantastic guide, Endiy! From the moment we started, it was clear that this tour company was both professional and well-organized, ensuring every detail was taken care of.

Endiy was not only friendly and funny but also spoke English exceptionally well, which made our interactions enjoyable and informative. His expertise in navigation was impressive, guiding us safely through the stunning landscapes. You could tell he was passionate about the mountain and eager to share his knowledge with us.

The food we received was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that kept us fueled for the hike. We were treated to an abundance of fresh fruit and snacks along the way, which were much appreciated after a challenging trek!

A huge shoutout to the porters as well—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and impressively strong! Their support made our journey much smoother, and their positive energy added to the overall experience.

The hike itself was a perfect blend of fun and challenge, with breathtaking views at every turn. Did 2D1N with Sting as my guide. With Sting’s beautiful singing voice, the ascent on the first day was a breeze, he picked a perfect pace for our group and we arrived at the rim at a great time and still quite fresh. The porters made wonderful meals of fruit and rice/noodles on the way, even a delicious curry for dinner at the rim. At 2am the porters made us breakfast and off we went for the summit, the climb was very intense but totally worth it. Highly recommend

We chose the 2D1N trekking with ascent to the summit. We were a group of 4 guys and we were helped and supported throughout by Tony, our Super Guide, and the porters who fed us with great delicacies!

We had everything we needed and the equipment was very clean!

Tony was an enthusiastic Guide, great local connoisseur and great shoulder to reach the top!

It couldn’t have gone better! We are very happy! These are views that will always remain in our hearts!

We chose the formula 2 days 1 night, the trek is difficult but quite doable if you are a bit sporty. The view of the sunrise from the top is beautiful and if the weather is clear the camp offers a great view too.

Our Yot Guide was great: it will put you in a good mood with its humor and will reassure you or give advice if necessary. Our 4 porters were also adorable and regaled us with every meal.

we spent 2 days and 1 night on mount rinjani, it was an incredible experience. we left with our 4 porters, they cooked very good meals during the whole trip. we also met our guide Yot, passionate about his job and this mountain. he was very kind and always attentive to us. he told us the legends related to the volcano and the village of Sembalun. he was also very attentive to the needs of each person to be able to help everyone in difficult times. we had a very good time because of him we sincerely thank him and his team

We had a fantastic tour with a great group. Our guide Endiy was very friendly and funny and looked after us very well the whole time. We felt very well looked after and safe. The porters Dinn, Pinn and Ham took care of all the food and provided us with the best culinary delights.

We did a 2D1N trip up to the summit of Mt Rinjiani with our guide, Endiy. The strong winds made the ascension extremely difficult but we made it just in time for sunrise! Great experience and great guide. Would highly recommend Lombok Indonesia and Endiy’

We were lucky enough to score tour guide Gutour (I think that’s how it’s spelt) and he went above and beyond to make our 2D1N trek amazing, always making us smile with his jokes and helping us whenever we needed. At one point he even carried my bag through a difficult part of the trek, such a legend!

While I found the trek personally pretty difficult (and wished I had trained prior!) Gutour made it light hearted and fun – pointing out amazing things about the mountain and I’m so glad we had him!!

Best trip ever! We did the 2D1N to summit and it was amazing. It was really hard, but the view and experience is totally worth it. Yot was the best guide ever! Really supportive and helpful. The porters were really nice also, and the food was perfect . Overall 12/10 really recommand!

Awesome experience all round, from the pick up at bangsal ferry terminal right to the summit and back again! Special shout out to Yot ( our guide for trek) and crew for his knowledge of the mountain and surrounds, and for keeping us smiling on the arduous summit ascent!

The trek is physically hard but the view at the top is worth it and the scenery is breathtaking throughout the ascent. The whole team took care of us from start to finish without leaving anything to chance, I highly recommend!

My two teenage boys and I did the 2D1N experience to the summit of Mt Rinjani with Hill and his team, and we had a wonderful time. Organization from back home was super smooth and friendly, with the team available 24/7. The description of the trip was very accurate and we had no surprises. We were given precise instructions on what equipment to bring along and got a good sense of the level of difficulty of the trekking (it requires some grit!). They took care of all aspects of the trip, including the administrative ones, and all we had to worry about was trekking. The team on the ground, led by Toni, was awesome and caring, flexible and always making sure that we had all we needed and were having a great time. Highly recommended for trekkers with moderate/good experience. Just don’t expect to be alone out there, the route is kind of busy.

Amazing service from Hill and his boys! We were family, four people, and had a two days summit trip. Everything was prepared without any problem, the organization was absolutely perfect. Our guide was Jun, really experienced person, nice, helpful and communicative. Everything was supported by three porters, again very great people, who were able to prepare first class food, build tents, etc. When I planned this event my opinion was that the price for one person is quite high – when I saw the reality, I have to say that it is not so cheap (especially for the group of 4:)), but it is absolutely reasonable and you are receiving the fair value. Thank you very much guys, it was one of the best travelling experience for us!

Two amazing days at the Rinjani. An organization of 10 from Endiy and all the team that accompanied us on the tour! Demanding but well managed path with breaks and enough food at the right times along the way. Endiy is a very close and fun Guide. Their team of porters was always very nice and were responsible for cooking all meals and setting up camp. Thanks team!

What an amazing experience! We hiked up the mount rinjni together with our tour guide Yun and had the best time! Highly recommend. He adapted to our speed, had everything organized perfectly and we were were happy with our experience! Pack warm clothes – it can get cold on the mountain – nevertheless we highly recommend this tour and company!

We did the 2 day 1 night trip to Gunung Rinjani. We did the hike with our 12 yr old son and we had a great experience! Our guide Awal was really friendly and experienced. Respect for the porters! Everything was well organized and the communication with Hill was easy and fast! Also the transport from the airport to Senaru and back to your next destination was arranged.

This was an amazing experience. We took the 2 days hike to the summit. It was challanging but also very beautiful. Our Guide Mariot and the porters where very friendly! Their food was delicious and Mariot always had a biscuit for us during the hike. Thank you so much for making this possible.

We had an absolutely fantastic 2D1N trekking up Mt. Rinjani with Sting as our guide and the two incredible porters! The trek was quite a challenge for me, but Sting’s support and encouragement were invaluable throughout the journey. While he cheered me on, he also made sure to check in on my friend who is pretty fit, to ensure he was doing well too.

The two porters were truly amazing for cooking us delicious meals and preparing beautiful fruit platters, always making sure we were well-fed and taken care of.

We also have Hill who briefed us the trekking day before and took care of arranging all our transfers before and after the trekking!

A huge thank you to Sting, the two porters, and Hill for making this adventure so fun and unforgettable. You all made this experience truly special and memorable for us! Semangat!

The 2 day 1 night Rinjani Summit trek was truly a memorable experience. The views are spectacular and the walk itself is amazing. My guide Endiy was particularly good and helped make it super fun. He was friendly, helpful and a great guide. The porters are amazing, Dan and Lidi always had a smile and were super good at their jobs. I would recommend this to all who are up for a challenge, it was a great experience that I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Thank you!

Cool and beautiful

We completed the 2D1N summit hike with Yot as our guide. Yot was extremely knowledgeable of the trek and gave us a good history lesson about Mt Rinjani. Yot was a fantastic guide, as were our porters, particularly Andre and his delicious cooking.

Such an amazing trip!! This is a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend. The food was amazing, they cooked us full hot meals at every stop and they were different every time. There was so much food and water we were well taken care of. The beds were super comfortable and the view from the tent is out of this world. Our guide Endiy was amazing, he knew so much about the mountain and took excellent care of us. This is a must do experience if you are visiting Lombok.

The people who work this mountain are truly incredible. We had an amazing time all thanks to our guide Endiy and porters, Sull, Runn and Jero.

Tons of food and water and our sleeping situation was very comfortable. I could not recommend these guys enough, spend the money its worth it!

Had an amazing time up Mt Rinjani, and were very happy to make it to the summit. Our guide Endiy was great, he was a super friendly and helpful guy who made the trek’s timings and terrain very clear. Endiy along with our porters Joe, Dinn, Pinn and Jap made sure our group were looked after, well fed and hydrated. Would highly recommend Lombok-Indonesia.org – communication from the trek organiser Hill, the pickup/drop off service and night of accommodation before the trek were huge bonuses. Make sure to bring lots of warm clothes!

Me and my brother had the most incredible time climbing mount rinjani. The Hill company was amazing, our guide Enidy and our porters Sull, Runn and Jero were all wonderful and looked after us so well. We really recommend doing this trip, it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Probably one of the best experiences of my life!! Endiy was amazing guide who did everything he could to make the experience extra special. The porters din and joe did an amazing job carrying all the equipment. Also joe was a very good cook so the food on the hike was delicious

I did the 2 day trek to the Mount Rinjani summit here. It was all very well organised. We also had a top guide: Yot. The day before the hike we spent a night in a chill bungalow. When we arrived at our camp the tent had already been set up in the best spot. The food during the trip was also very tasty.

Huge thank you to Yot who was a fantastic guide on a tough but rewarding few days. Very insightful and friendly.

It was an incredible experience!

It’s a tough climb, requires effort, but it’s well worth it. I have to give due credit to our guide YOT who was tireless, accompanied us the entire time, super helpful, we even felt spoiled!

And we also have to give no less value to the porters who are subject to immense effort and still with a smile! 5 star experience!!

Our guide Andy and the porters helped us at all times to complete the trekking. They are the real heroes. Without them it would not be possible. They are loaded with all the necessary material so that you can sleep and make all the meals on the days of trekking. It is a really hard excursion that many of us cannot complete due to the fatigue and physical requirements it requires, that is when they help you the most. Thanks again Andy and company

We did the 1 night summit tour and it was spectacular! Overall the hike was challenging but the views from the summit were well worth it! Our tour guide Yot was awesome aswell, he was very experienced and always made us feel cared for!

Even though there was a bit of rubbish around the camp site, our group brought all our own rubbish off the mountain.
