I had booked 3D2N Rinjani trip with Lombok-Indonesia.Org. Shout-out to my amazing guide, Sting.

Trekking to Rinjani is tough however Sting made it all possible. I would not be able to made to the summit before the sunrise without his guidance.

Our guide Fahri was awesome with our group and made it a very fun experience. He catered to our experiences and has taken us to unique places

Rinjani is famous so must be the Lombok Indonesia trek.

We booked before our trip this trek (3D2N)and already get the feeling that’s the organisation was perfectly set : the communication was perfect, the explanations clear.

When we arrived at the port, everything was set. We put our brain off, just following the flow so well organised.

2 hours later, we arrived at the rental shop, met hill and get all the equipments we need. I can already say that you will need everything they do recommend (gloves, raincoat, walking stick) and that they are of very good quality.

We went to our accomodation, the room was clean and get explanations from Hill about the trek. Once again everything was clear, hill was patient, kind, and make us feel like he was really carefully about us to feel happy and confortable.

How can we start better ?

The next morning we met our team : ariadi, our guide, our two porters Door and Adim.

If I have any advice, ask for them to guide you.

Our experience was fantastic and without any doubt, thanks to their professionalism and company. They are kind, attentive, always smiling, they care about you, your well being. They are really good cooker, everything we had was delicious (by the way, the portion was big for us, so to avoid any waste, we ask them to have smaller quantity).

at the end, we felt that we made some friends more than being customer anymore. Making the goodbye harder than never.

Ask for Ariadi to have a wonderfull journey and trust the experience of hill, as an ancient guide and porter, for sure you can trust them 😉

I have been on the 3 day hiking on Rinjani and the trekking was absolutely amazing! The orbni sarkon, transzfer and accommodation went smoothie. Our guide was Sting who is the best guide I could wish! He always kept us updated about the hike, he was motivating, helpful and in a really good mood. The hike is not easy but it really worths it, I loved every moment! We saw breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, clouds, even a rainbow! The weather was perfect in the end of April. The porters are doing unbelieveble work, they carry all the food and tents in baskets and are wearing flipflops. But not only the carrige, also the food they prepare is sooo good, I was really not expecting this good food on the top of the mountains. Thank you Sting and Team for everything!

What an exprience! I did the 3 days 2 nights trek.

We had Nabil as a guide and he was awesome! I give him 10/10.

He explains some history of Rinjani, about the legend, I appreciate that.

Also, he gives me good advice about the trek.

At one point, I was really scared because of the heigh. I started to cry and he comes to me, gives me his hand and his support. With his empathy and his presence, I feel secure and this is really important when you are going thru big emotion !!!

Rinjani is a real big wild trek and to have great guides and porter is must. I recommand this company !

Great experience with Lombok-Indonesia hiking Mount Rinjani. Special shoutout to Sting, our guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was thoughtful, extremely nice, and he shared his knowledge with us, making the entire experience very pleasant even when the trekking was hard.

A big thanks to the porters. It is incredible what they do, they carry the tents and the food, prepare delicious meals and do so with a smile on their faces. Have nothing but good things to say about this experience.

As this is my first time hiking Rinjani, I was blessed that i was paired with a great team not forgetting the guide and porters. Utmost respect to the porters especially!

I bought the 3 days 2 nights package. Andy was assigned to guide the team. He was very knowledgeable, organised and never left anyone behind and made sure team stuck together. Keep it up!!

But I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to the food. Prepping of food took a little too long and the food served could have been something thats filling and gives enough energy for hikers.

Other than the food and prepsI think Lombok-indonesia.org have done exceptionally well!

Amazing views despite the bad weather. Toni and his crew were very accommodating to us! We were provided adequate food and lodging during our stay on the mountain. His cheerful personality also made our trek up the mountain easier as well.

Toni, a very responsible, experienced and energetic tour guide. Always concerned about whether you are hungry more than your grandmother would.

Chose the 3D2N option. Greatly overestimated myself and underestimated Gunung Rinjani so please come prepared physically and mentally. Luckily my very capable guide Endiy was able to accommodate and adjust to my needs. His knowledge of the terrain and the history of Rinjani is impressive.

Along the way our porters Dinn,Pinn and Sull cooked some of the best Indonesian food I have tasted. From ingredients they carried up the mountain on their backs. When we arrived at camp at the end of the first day our tents and bedding were already set up and waiting for us. Waking up to the sunrise atop the mountain with one of the most majestic views I have ever seen was made ten times better with a hot tea in hand. prepared by the guys who carried 90% of our load. Top experience. I am already planning my next visit

I did 2N3D. Great organization and pick up service. First night in hotel before hike was better standard that expected. Actual hike was mixed experience. Fabulous guiding by Endiy and portering plus delicious fresh and cooked food by Dinn, Pinn and Sull. Physically it is tough so come prepared to climb up 2000+m the first day and with good shoes and equipment / change of clothes for three days plus warm and waterproof things! Views good and a memorable experience – if you are fit enough!!!

My girlfriend and I booked a 3 day and 2 night trekking tour with Lombok-Indonesia.org. Communication was excellent. We got a briefing before hand and could stay at there pre arranged home stay. The tour it self was excellent with a great guide (Yot), he could tell us everything you liked to know about the area and kept sure every member of the group was at peace. Luckily the group wasn’t that big. We started the tour in Sembalum and ended in Senaru which we liked. The second day was pretty hard, however very rewarding with a rest at the hotsprings, great lunch, beautiful views and the help of Yot and the great porters(incredible how strong they are and good cooks)!!

Had a really good experience with this company! Sting was a very good knowledgeable guide who adjusted to the pace of our group. The porters did an amazing job carrying all the supplies, we are very grateful for Sting and the porters! It was probably the toughest hike we have ever done but it was very well worth it. Thanks guys!

It was a wonderfull journey to the Rinjani Summit ! We were really lucky with the weather but especially with the teams ! Our guide, Endiy, was always smiling, giving good energy to climb but also interesting story about the mountains. The 3 porters made an incredible job to provide us good sleeping conditions and delicious food at any time of the day ! We made this aventure together with a friendly French couple and shared really good moments together ! Finally, Hill was really responsive and well organised to provide home stay and travels wherever we wanted in Lombok ! I really recommend this company that is also taking care of their carbage on the moutain and that’s a really good thing.

5 stars well deserved for this incredible trek on Mount Rinjani. Everything was perfect, our Guide Endiy made us spend three unforgettable days despite the difficulty of the route, without forgetting the indispensable help of the porters, these supermen who climb the mountain in flip-flops, even barefoot, loaded with 30 kg on the shoulders and who in addition set up the tents and make us food 3 times a day. Go with your eyes closed, but be prepared because it is a physically difficult trek.

We did the 3 days/2 nights hike and it was just amazing. Our guide Toni was such a great guy! Very entertaining and supportive also in every situation.

We were a group of 5 in total and all with different fitness and he handled it perfectly. We had so much fun altogether despite the hard hike up to the summit.

We were lucky to do the Rinjani trek (3 days and 2 nights) with Lombok-indonesia.org company. Trek was tough but Endiy and his team were always there to help. We will remember for a long time their smiles (and also the wake-up at 1:30am to reach Rinjani summit for sunrise). Definitely some experts of Rinjani hiking.

I did the 3 day 2 nights trekking and guide Endiy and porters Dann, Pinn and Adong took very good care of us! The hike is very tough, especially the 2nd day, but the views are amazing.

A fabulous experience : even if it is very hard, the view is breathtaking and it is worth it!

Had a great experience hiking with lombok-indonesia.org. Our guide Endiy was very reliable and took care of us the entire way, making sure that everyone was safe. Our porters Dann, Pinn and Adong cooked us wonderful meals at the base camp site, and also managed to secure a tent spot with the best view, am extremely thankful for them as well.

10/10 would recommend, but be prepared, it’s not an easy hike!

We had a fantastic experience climbing and summitting Rinjani! It was very tough but our guide Endiy kept the energy high. He helped us getting the right gear and clearly instructed us on each stage of the ascend. Beyond this, Endiy and the porters were very hospitable and enjoyable and always in for a chat or a question. Back at the bottom, Endiy stayed with us all the way until we were picked up for our destination. In summary: Would definitely recommend!

Our guide, Mr Sting for being professional, being patient, explaining to us clearly what to expect before each hike so we can mentally prepare ourselves. Constantly reaching out a helping hand and prioritising our safety.

Our porters, Mr Adi(s) & Jun who worked tirelessy to provide the most finest dining experience at 2,641m and comfort during our stay at the base camp. They’re the last who leave the site to do all the packing, and they reached the next stop way ahead of us to prepare our tents and make sure we get our meals once we reach the next stop.

We did the 3 day 2 night trekking and it was an amazing experience. Our guide, Yot and his porters, is what made the experience one to remember.

We were a group of 5 friends with different fitness levels and Yot did an amazing job setting the pace that kept our group together and while the trek was challenging, he had great suggestions to keep it fun.

He speaks English well. So it was easy to ask him questions and he was always happy to talk and teach us of Mt Rinjani.

Toni was the best guide we could have asked for!!! We had such an amazing time with Toni and the rest of the crew. Hill made the process very easy and made sure we were looked after before and after the hike. Whilst on the hike Toni and the porters went above and beyond do make sure we were happy at all times. The food was amazing and we were never hungry or thirsty. Toni had lots of knowledge about Rinjani and was a very experienced outdoorsman. We couldn’t recommend Lombok-Indonesia enough. 10/10.

The overall experience was simply amazing!! The hike was at some points challenging but so worth it. The views were mesmerising, the food was super yummy and the guide and porters were super nice. Our guide, Sting, took the entire experience to the next level. Thank you so much, Sting!

Piot was an amazing guide! He was very helpful and positive!! He did everything he could to make our trip amazing. The porters were also amazing!! They are so strong and make the hike look like a breezy afternoon stroll! Insane!! They prepared delicious food and set up the tents for us! Very thankful for Piot and the porters! However we (my friend and i) weren’t super happy with the company. The homestay was good, but the person that was briefing us about the hike wasn’t very clear and we were paired with a very slow couple. I understand that they can’t guarantee that everyone will have the same pace, but they walked so slow that we had to wait around a lot and (realistically) couldn’t even follow the original hike that we’ve paid for. Piot was amazing and the mountain is beautiful so we still enjoyed it A LOT!!

Our guide sting went above and beyond to ensure we have the full 3D2N experience. He puts in a conscious effort to check in on us be it our body condition and even to the extent of making sure we have our belongings safekept – something which he did not have to do. In spite of our lack of fitness, our guide ensured we made it to the summit even if it took for him to help us carry our load at times. Together with him, our 2 porters were excellent in ensuring we have our tents set up the moment we reached base camp and also constantly whipping up delicious meals for us even providing condiments and snacks. Overall the tour was made very enjoyable as my friend and I did not have to worry about accommodation, food or even time wastage as sting will let us know beforehand of the next day planning or schedule. All in all, we were well taken care of under the lead of sting and his sense of humor made the trip memorable. Sting is a true unsung hero!

We did the 3D2N trek with Awal as our guide and it was great! I didn’t expect so much comfort and such a good meal during a trek like this but it was the case thanks to the porters whom I thank again! The landscapes (especially the second day which is incredible!) are really worth it, it was a highlight of our stay in Lombok!

Fully enjoyed our 3D/2N Rinjani trek with Lombok-Indonesia. We were lucky to have Sting as our guide, who was helpful and patient with our slower pace, and got us to the summit and to the finish in one piece. A tough hike but the views & experience were beyond expectation!

Well organised trek and camp. Our guide, Awing and the team of porters took really good care of the group. Food along the trek are made fresh, in huge portion, and very delicious. The view at the crater rim campsites and the peak are really amazing. But the trek to the peak is really challenging with the loose sand and gravels.

Unbelievable experience on the 3D 2N tour with our guide Yot. Couldn’t have asked for a better service from him , always made sure we had everything we needed. Overall an unforgettable experience

Absolutely amazing hike! The views were breathtaking and the nature was brilliant. Be prepared for a challenge though, the climb to the summit is not easy! Huge thank you to our Guide Endiy, as well as our porters Jo, Dinn, Jap, Pinn and Yun, for making our trip so unforgettable.

I went on a 3D-2N trek with Endiy as my guide. The whole experience was incredible! From the begining, contact with the team was established quickly via whatsapp and all my questions were answered. They arranged for my transport to and from Rinjani and also booked an accomodation for me. The company also has hiking sticks and headlamps available – be sure the ask for them.

The trek in itself was the most amazing experience. Extremely challenging, but the views and the memories were worth all the effort. Endiy was funny, enthusiast, encouraging and very knowledgeable. He always ensured our safety and made sure we knew what was coming. We also had an incredible team of porters and cooks: Jo, Dinn, Yap and Yun. They were real troopers! Carried our food, water and sleepling supplies; cooked for us; arranged our campsites; and always provided us with hot drinks. They also carried chairs and tables for our comfort, which not every company carries for their guests.

My only recommendations are to make sure to bring enough warm clothes because the climb to the summit was absolutely freezing! Bring gloves, hats, windbraker and warm fleece. You can also bring more snacks with you!

All in all, extremely challenging hike but very doable if you believe in yourself and pace yourself. We saw a few people give up, make sure you know what you are signing up for!

Wow! Truly one of the most epic experiences of our life and we have gone on quite a few adventures! We are avid hikers but this hike was killer. It was tougher than we expected but completely worth it!! The views were insane. Super lucky to have our amazing guide Yot who told us to expect at each position/rest area and told us the history behind Rinjani. He was also just super fun to chat with and always made sure we had everything we needed. When it came time for the final summit, he made sure we had enough time to reach the summit but also made sure that we wouldn’t be waiting up there in the cold for too long and we reached it right in time which was perfect! Really really appreciated that cuz it got super cold at the top. He also brought tons of snacks and drinks and was just really good energy!! Thank you Yot!! Also huuuuuuge thank you to our amazing porters! They brought all of our camping gear, food, cooking stuff and more. All in flip flops!!! That was crazy! All in all definitely an unforgettable trip! Abracadabra 🙂

We had a great time trekking with Hill and his team. Rinjani is an epic mountain and it is not an easy trek so you have to really earn the majecstic views. Hill made it fun and we had a great time. He was very attentive, patient and took great care of us. I’d recommend him to anyone who is traveling to Lombok for the first time or is climbing Rinjani.

I did the three-day trek with Endiy as guide. It was super well organised, more than enough food and super chill guide and porters. The views on this hike are fantastic, I definitely recommend this company for doing the Rinjani trek!

Reached the summit with the help of our awesome guide Hamdi and porters Menk and Sull. Couldn’t have done it without them they were a huge help and fun to be around 🙂

Yot was the best guide we could have asked for. He speaks good English and explains quite a bit about the volcano, lombok and his own personal guide history if you ask him. Ask for Yot when you go to Rinjani.

Lombok-Indonesia was super well organised. The price is a bit steep, but in turn they bring a little more luxury to the top (more food, super comfy mattress,…).

What an experience! 3 days, 2 nights! It’s a hike with magnificent landscapes, strong emotions and lots of laughter.

My advice: 1. be in shape. (Even in good shape the 3 days 2 night program is difficult) if you are more or less in shape opt for the 4 days/3 nights option with the same route. This included many more breaks and relaxation with the same breathtaking views!

2. Take an expensive company. The more you pay the more comfort you have at the top. Choose a company that brings back their waste – there is already enough of it on the mountain!

3. Ask for a specific guide. (Regardless of the company, find the name of a guide with good reviews and ask for it specifically) We went up with Yot. A guide who speaks English very well, he spent the days telling us stories about his culture and the history of his country. Funny stories from past customers! It passes the time. He also knows the names of the many fruits/animals and trees on the route. He also demonstrated a humanity that I have encountered too little in our Western society. Yot gave his own stockings to a Hindu man coming to pray at the top of Mount Rinjani barefoot with multiple sores on his feet. He stopped to give explanations/help and encouragement to the orphaned trekkers from other dispersed groups. Was able to create a spirit of mutual aid and teamwork in our group. It really made all the difference compared to the group who had a guide who barely spoke English.

4. Lately: transport or rent linen/clothes to be comfortable at a temperature of -5°C. (0 degrees + wind at the summit)

Very challenging hike but Endiy and his team (Ron, Dean, Ares) made it really amazing. We had so many good moments with them, we laughed together, enjoyed delicious homemade meals, shared about culture and language … I will always remember Endiy and his team’s kindness, unconditional smiles, and admirable courage. Thank you Endiy for being so open minded, for your good sense of humour in all circumstances, and for carrying and sharing your beautiful values.

Very good experience! We did the 3 day 2 nights, Sting was our guide for the whole trip. He made sure that everyone was ok and informed us about the planning, so we didn’t have to think about anything. We were with 5 customers in total, as one of the couples, we had our own tent, which was great. Everything was taken care of by Sting and 4 porters. The homestay at the start was basic , but fine. Excellent experience overall, would highly recommend.

Honestly, what a hike. Our guide Yot and his porters were amazing. Almost too good that we felt bad leaving some of the incredible food they cooked for us (pictured). It’s a trip well worth putting the effort into as the views and experience is stunning.
