Naš pohod po obrobju kraterja je 2-dnevni/1-nočni pohod, ki je najboljši za popotnike, ki želijo videti čudovite razglede na goro Rinjani, vendar se jim vrh morda zdi preveč zahteven. Ta dan se začne v vaši nastanitvi v vasi Senaru v severnem Lomboku. Pred začetkom dneva boste imeli zajtrk in kavo v svoji nastanitvi.
Obstajata dva načina za pohod do roba kraterja. Eden od načinov je, da odidete neposredno iz Senaruja, drugi pa je, da vzamete 1 uro vožnje (v otoškem slogu) do Sembaluna. Vožnja je spomin sama po sebi, ko se voziš v zadnjem delu tovornjaka z vetrom v laseh skozi vasice Lomboka.
Če potujete neposredno iz Senaruja, boste pohodili skozi srce Nacionalnega parka Gunung Rinjani (geopark UNESCO). Prvi dan se boste vzpenjali skozi gost deževni gozd, ki pokriva spodnja pobočja Mt Rinjani. Popoldne boste izstopili iz gozdne meje na bolj izpostavljeno območje gore in sledili travnatim grebenom do Ruba Kraterja Senaru. Kamp na Robu Kraterja Senaru (znan tudi kot Plawangan Senaru) ponuja čudovite razglede! Na severovzhodu je vrh Mount Rinjani, tik spodaj pa sta Segara Anak in Mt Barujari (aktiven vulkan). Ob jasnem dnevu je mogoče videti Gili otoke na zahodu – Gili Trawangan, Meno in Air. Za temi tremi drobnimi otoki se Bali’s Mt Agung dviga visoko nad obzorjem.
Če se odločite za potovanje iz Sembaluna, je pohod prav tako lep, vendar bolj direkten. To je ista pot, ki jo ponujamo našim popotnikom na pohodu do vrha, in je nekoliko strmejša, vendar ne tako dolga. Obe možnosti vas popeljeta do kraternega roba popoldne.
Ker večina popotnikov raje gre vse do vrha, se prosimo vnaprej pozanimajte o tem pohodu. Za ta pohod zahtevamo najmanj 2 osebi.
Iz pristanišča ali letališča boste prepeljani v naš homestay na prvo nočitev. V času visoke sezone ponujamo več lokacij za bivanje.
Waroeng Senaru je naša priporočena nastanitev. Vse sobe imajo klimatsko napravo. Nastanitev je preprosta, vendar vsaka soba vključuje zasebno kopalnico s toplo prho in WiFi. Lahko izberete obrok z majhnega menija lokalnih jedi. Homestay se nahaja le 3 minute od vhoda v slapove, kar ga naredi zelo priročnega.
Villa Bamboo ponuja bolj naravno doživetje v bambusovih kočah. Lokacija je osupljiva, sobe pa so ponoči hladnejše, saj so na višji nadmorski višini. Klimatske naprave ni, vendar so na voljo WiFi, restavracija, ter čudovit prostor za opazovanje sončnega zahoda. Pot do slapov ni težka in ste prav tako blizu tradicionalne vasi Senaru.
Popotniki običajno prispejo v pristanišče Bangsal preko Bali ali Gili otokov. Nekateri popotniki lahko prispejo preko letališča na Lomboku. V obeh primerih nudimo prevoz do našega homestaya v Senaru kot del vašega paketa. Prišli boste v naš homestay in imeli večerjo. Uživate lahko v čudovitem razgledu iz naše zunanje jedilnice ter opazujete opice neposredno pod vami. Prav tako se lahko sprehodite do vodopada Tiu Kelep, ki je oddaljen le 20 minut peš. Pot je neposredno pred našim homestayem.
Začeli boste dan z zajtrkom in kavo ali čajem. Glede na to, ali se boste povzpeli iz Sembaluna ali Senaru, boste začeli bodisi z kratkim prevozom do izhodišča poti bodisi z enourno vožnjo do Sembaluna. Ta dan boste hodili ves dan, do poznega popoldneva, s postankom za kosilo vmes. V poznem popoldnevu boste prispeli do roba kraterja, kjer bodo vaši nosači že postavljali tabor. Večer boste preživeli ob uživanju v razgledih z roba kraterja in večerjali. Prespali boste na robu kraterja.
Tretji dan, po zajtrku boste začeli sestopiti bodisi v Senaru bodisi v Sembalun. Če potujete v Sembalun, je sestop zmeren. Če potujete v Senaru, bo večina dneva potekala skozi gosto deževno gozdovje. Sredi dneva boste imeli kosilo, nato pa nadaljevali pot po kosilu. Ko pridete na dno gore, vas bo voznik odpeljal nazaj na pristanišče ali letališče. Če boste ostali na enem od naših drugih dogodivščin, vas bomo odpeljali nazaj v našo nastanitev v Senaru ali ekološko vas v Tanjungu.

We have just returned from the two-day and one-night trek spent in a tent at the crater and we are very satisfied with the experience, the view from there was wonderful! We are happy to have booked with Lombok-Indonesia.org because we were supported by an exceptional team made up of Endiy, our Guide, a very knowledgeable guy, nice and attentive to our needs and the wonderful help of the porters Dinn and Pinn. The food was plentiful and good, the tents like new and the sleeping bags warm. Our choice of trekking “the easy way” is feasible for anyone with a good physical preparation, to consider that they are 8h uphill and 5h downhill but it is absolutely worth it!
Incredible experience with a team that took care of us at all times during this adventure. Endiy (our Guide) explained all the steps of the way perfectly. Everyone on his team gave everything to make sure we had maximum comfort. In addition the team prepared us good hearty meals.

We had an amazing experience doing the 2 day 1 night trek up to the Senaru Crater Rim. Our guide Endiy was so friendly, helpful and supportive through the whole hike. Our two porter Ojik and Mur were also fantastic, the cooked is incredible meals and carried everything we needed (tents, food etc). I would highly recommend completing this trek with Lombok-Indonesia. Org as everything was so well organised
The team was awesome. Not only they wore a permanent smile, they cooked and took good care of their customers. Yot, the guide, looked very well after my wife, who got tired towards the end of the journey, patiently helping her to hike down to the park’s entry. Make no mistake, it is NOT an easy hike even if you just go to the rim of the crater, but certainly their support helps tremendously to actually make it an enjoyable endevour. They also picked us up and delivered us from/to locations not that near Senaru, their base, which made it an almost seamless experience. I strongly recommend using their services
This was an amazing trek and it certainly exceeded our expectations. We feel very blessed.
We were so impressed with everything from the welcome at the beginning, the homestay accomodation and food and then the trek itself and everything that came with that.
Sting was a fantastic guide who we felt very safe with. It was also very clear that he would do anything and everything to accommodate our needs. We felt very relaxed with him and enjoyed his company and all his knowledge. He was very supportive.
Sul and Reke were incredible Porters. So fast, friendly and super efficient.
After a great trek uphill to the first camp at the crater rim we were feeling great. After the first slow downhill to the lake the next day we revaluated our fitness and decided not to do the summit so that we could enjoy the rest of the trek without being in lots of pain and risking a fall due to fatigue. We knew we had Sting’s support with any choice we made.
We enjoyed the second day, lunch at the lake, soaking in the hot water springs and the hike up to the other side of the crater.

We woke the 2nd morning to watch the sunrise and then ate breakfast before beginning the trek down to the end.
We absolutely loved the views, the company, the incredible food and the service and support. Exceptional!
We did the 2-day tour to the Rinjani crater: an overnight stay in Senaru (the accommodation was functional, but we wouldn’t book it otherwise), hike to the crater, overnight stay in a tent, hike back to Senaru. It was a great experience! The atmosphere and view from the crater are fantastic. The relatively strenuous (but doable with average fitness) walk to the crater was definitely worth it!! Sore muscles say hello.
Thanks to Yun for the competent and friendly support. And to the porters who carried all the material up and back down the mountain at an incredible speed (in flip-flops!).

We were lucky to get Tony as our guide, with Jimmy and Boy as porters, and to put it mildly they were great. Super helpfull and always smiling!
Sadly my wife had to throw in the towel about half way, so the guys set up camp for us and woke up at 2am with me with breakfast ready so we could get to the crater rim before sunrise.
I also have to note that the food they made was really tasty!
11/10 would recommend!

View (calera lake) was breathtaking. The slope of trek to the peak of Rinjani was hard but it’ worth to challenge..our team was great . Thanks to Andy (Guide), Saul (porter) and Alex (porter)..
Fantastic experience trekking on mt rinjani with the team. Sting, Adi and Mamik were all absolutely incredible, they looked after us, cooked us delicious food and got us the best spot on the crater it was amazing and we can’t thank them enough. It was an honour to be with them at mt rinjani and they are a credit to the company!
Amazing hiking experience. Our friendly guide Yot was very experienced and knowledgeable about the history of Mt Rinjani and helped us through the challenging climb that tested our mental will.
He did his very best to ensure our safety during the hike and we felt comfort in his guidance.
The prepared food was amazing, with a wide platter of fruits included with each meal. The tents came with a nice cushioned camp mattress that is better than the simple mats we saw the other hiking groups had.
It was my first hike but is was the best experience. Our guide Endij was amazing!!! He made sure we all felt good and made us laugh a lot.
I loved al the views, sunsets and sunrises and the food they made for us was everytime amazing.
We did the Crater Rime 2D1N and it was amazing, either our guide Endiy or our porters were at our disposal all the time for anything we needed, Endiy was acompaining us and we could share with him nice talks during the hike, so we recommend this tour and we are very happy with the guide we had.
My partner and I did the 2D1N hike to the crater rim – wowwww!!!! Our trip was organized by Hill, who is very responsive and kind. Everything was taken care of – lodging for the night before the trek, food on the trek, camping gear, etc!
Our guide up the mountain was Yun – we enjoyed joking with him and learning more about Indonesia. He kept with our pace and made us feel comfortable to ask for more breaks during the trek up. I’ll say that it was definitely a challenge! I have pretty short legs so some of the climb up was a bit challenging for me, but Yun was there to literally lend a hand. The view from the top was phenomenal – I can’t believe we live in a world that can behold so much beauty. There was quite a bit of cloud cover, but it blew away here and there and gave us the chance to see inside the crater, as well as the view to the sea.
And the food!!!!!!!! Easily the best food we’ve eaten in Indonesia. For dinner, the porters prepared the most amazing curry.
It rained halfway down our descent. Torrential downpour. But it was a fun part of the adventure. We all laughed through it and when it came time for lunch, the porters had prepared a rain shelter for us all to eat.
Overall this was the adventure of a lifetime. You won’t regret it. (If you come mid-September, truly bring some warm clothes for the top!!)
Had a great tour. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail and the guide and porters do everything they can to ensure you have a great tour.

I did the 2D1N tour and had three young adults in my group, very nice people. Our guide was motivating and fun. We had two porters carrying our tents and food. They cooked delicious food for us on tze mountain top. The path is slippery therefore I recommend renting a hiking stick. The hike was strenuos but well worth it. We enjoyed a view over the crater to the Gilis and Bali.
Climbing Mt.Ringani was an amazing experience. While it was extremely challenging the breath taking views and the constant support and encouragement from Hill and his team made it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend using these guys and climbing Mt.Ringani, but definately need to have good fitness.
