Rather than booking a traditional planned tour, you simply travel with one of our guides who will show the real heart and soul of Lombok. You decide on the day what exactly you want to do. We have a list of options to choose from.
Overview
We offer a 2 day / 2 night tour where you can pick and choose your adventure depending on your energy level. While some travelers are coming in fresh spirits from Bali, many are often continuing from Gili Islands or fresh off of Mt. Rinjani. Some travelers are full of energy and ready to move, while others may be looking for a more chill Lombok experience. Our Lombok Island Adventure gives you options that are tailored to your groups’ specific situation. You can take the advice of our guides, or not…it’s up to you! Your guide is not just a knowledgeable local, but a new friend who will feel like family by the time you are done. You may even be invited to dinner with their family and friends!
This is a real go-with-the-flow way to experience Lombok, in the most down-the-earth way possible.

Getting There
- We offer transportation to our homestay in Senaru as part of your package

From Bangsal Port / Lombok Airport
If you are coming from Gili Islands or Bali, you will arrive into Bangsal port. To get the most out of your adventure, you should take the earliest ferry possible. We also offer a private speed boat if you are coming from one of the Gili Islands ($20 USD total split between passengers). Once you arrive at the port, you will be picked up and taken to homestay in Senaru which is about 1-1.5 hours away. There you can drop off your bags and enjoy the nearby waterfalls. Dinner is served that evening at your homestay.
The 2nd day, you will adventure throughout Senaru and north Lombok. At the end of the day, you will return to the same homestay for your final night there. Dinner is served in the evening as well.
The 3rd day, you will adventure to the west & south side of Lombok. You can travel as far south as KUTA, but most travelers opt to finish at the Sasak Village. This day is finished by 17:00 in order to catch the ferry back to the Gili Islands or Bali.
From Mt. Rinjani
If you are already hiking Mt. Rinjani with us and would like to see more of Lombok after your trek, you can simply come back to the homestay after your trek. You can visit waterfalls in the evening which are only a 20 minute walk on the trail directly in front of our homestay.
The 2nd day, you will adventure throughout Senaru and north Lombok. At the end of the day, you come back to your homestay.
The 3rd day, you will be picked up from the homestay in Senaru and travel throughout the west & south parts of Lombok. You will catch the ferry at 17:00.
Accommodation

From the port or airport, you will be brought to spend the night at our homestay. During the busy season we offer multiple locations to stay.
Waroeng Senaru
Waroeng Senaru is our preferred homestay. All of the rooms have air conditioning. The accommodations are basic but each includes their own bathroom with warm showers & wifi. You can choose to eat from the small menu of local dishes they make. This homestay is also 3 minutes from the entrance of the waterfalls, making it very convenient.
Villa Bamboo
Villa Bamboo is a more natural experience in bamboo huts. The location is beautiful and rooms are cooler at night because of their location higher on the hill. There is no air-conditioning, but there is wifi, a restaurant, and a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Walking to the waterfalls is not difficult and you are right next door to the Senaru Traditional Village.
