Lombok is often called the Island of a Thousand Mosques. We created the first comprehensive mosque map of Lombok, documenting nearly 1,000 mosques across the island. This project is a work in progress and continues to grow, but already it is the most detailed map of Lombok’s mosques available.
Our team worked together with local communities to verify the exact locations of mosques in towns, villages, and remote areas. Every marker on this map has been carefully placed with the help of people who know the island best. The result is a resource that not only highlights Lombok’s Islamic heritage but also helps visitors and locals find mosques easily for prayer and cultural exploration.
