Nanggi Hill, our newest trekking option is located near Mt. Rinjani and Pengasingan Hill. At 2300 meters above sea level, the climb demands effort but rewards with opportunities for camping, trekking, and stunning sunset views. It’s particularly favored by casual trekkers and it offers a safe and comfortable camping spot. Visitors can also witness a mesmerizing night sky and a beautiful sunrise illuminating Rinjani Mountain.
This trek also includes stops at the strawberry fields in Sembalun as well as Tiu Kelep waterfall in Senaru.
From the port or airport, you will be brought to spend the night at our homestay. During the busy season we offer multiple locations to stay.
Waroeng Senaru is our preferred homestay. All of the rooms have air conditioning. The accommodations are basic but each includes their own bathroom with warm showers & wifi. You can choose to eat from the small menu of local dishes they make. This homestay is also 3 minutes from the entrance of the waterfalls, making it very convenient.
Villa Bamboo is a more natural experience in bamboo huts. The location is beautiful and rooms are cooler at night because of their location higher on the hill. There is no air-conditioning, but there is wifi, a restaurant, and a wonderful place to watch the sunset. Walking to the waterfalls is not difficult and you are right next door to the Senaru Traditional Village.
Travelers usually arrive an Bangsal Harbor via Bali or Gili Islands. Some travelers may arrive via Lombok airport. In both situations, we offer transportation to our homestay in Senaru as part of your package. You will arrive at our homestay and have dinner. You will be able to enjoy beautiful views from our outdoor dining area as well as watch monkeys right below you. You can also walk to Tiu Kelep waterfall which is only 20 minutes by foot. The trail is right in front of our homestay.

10:00 – Departure to Sembalun
11:30 – Arrival at Sembalun strawberry fields
12:00-12:30 – Arrival at trek starting point
13:00 – Lunch
14:00 – Start trekking
16:00-17:00 – Arrival at the top of Nanggi Hill
18:00 – Sunset and Dinner
06:15-06:30 – Sunrise viewing and breakfast.
07:30-08:30 -Start descent to Sembalun.
10:00-11:00 – Expected arrival at the mountain base.
Before 12:00 – Arrival in Senaru.
Post-Noon – Transportation to next destination provided by our driver.
