Flight times are usually around one hour and are the most reliable way to begin a Komodo cruise.
Lombok also has direct flights to Labuan Bajo. These are perfect for travelers who are already exploring Lombok or joining one of our Mt. Rinjani hikes. Many guests finish their trek, fly straight to Labuan Bajo, and board their Komodo cruise the next morning. It keeps the journey simple and avoids the long overland route, which we never recommend because of road safety and travel time.
Once you arrive at Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo town and the harbor are only a few minutes away, so you can go straight to your boat and start your adventure.
