Most Komodo liveaboard boats provide basic towels and simple toiletries, so you do not need to bring everything from home. You will usually receive a clean towel for showering and another for snorkelling or drying off after swimming. These are changed only when needed, since water storage on boats is limited, but they are always clean and ready for use.
Toiletries are usually provided in a basic form, such as soap and shampoo. Some of the more comfortable liveaboards offer slightly nicer amenities, while simple backpacker style boats keep things minimal. If you prefer specific products or need something for sensitive skin, it is always better to bring your own.
Guests on our cruises often appreciate that the essentials are already available, but many still bring small personal items to make the trip more comfortable. Since you will be in and out of the water often, you may want extra items like conditioner, reef safe sunscreen, or a small quick dry towel. Even so, the boats provide everything you need to stay clean and comfortable during your Komodo adventure.
