You do not need very much cash for a Komodo cruise. Almost everything on board is included once you join the trip. Meals, drinks, cabins, snorkelling gear and activities are already covered in the package price. The only extra expenses during the cruise might be alcohol, which you bring yourself, and optional tips for the crew if you choose to give them.
Most travellers bring a small amount of rupiah for souvenirs, snacks in Labuan Bajo and transportation before or after the cruise. A modest amount is usually enough because there are no shops, restaurants or places to spend money inside the national park. The only time you might use cash during the tour is for a small purchase at a ranger station or a village stop, and even those are rare.
If you plan to stay a few nights in Labuan Bajo before or after your cruise, carrying a bit more rupiah for meals and taxis is helpful. ATMs are available throughout town, so you do not need to withdraw all your cash at once. In general, keeping your cash needs small and simple is best, since the cruise itself requires almost no spending.
