Can I combine Komodo cruises with Wae Rebo?

Flores Island, Komodo Boat Tour, Komodo Cruise, Komodo Cruises, Komodo Island, Komodo National Park, Komodo Tours, Komodo Travel Safety, Labuan Bajo

It is possible to combine a Komodo cruise with a visit to Wae Rebo, but our team does not offer this combination. Komodo National Park is explored entirely by boat, while Wae Rebo requires a long overland journey and a full day of hiking on Flores Island. Because they involve two very different styles of travel, arranging both together requires a separate overland operator, additional transport, and at least one extra night on land.

Most travellers choose to complete their Komodo cruise first, then arrange a driver and guide on their own to reach Wae Rebo. The trip usually involves several hours on winding mountain roads, followed by a two to three hour uphill hike. It is a rewarding cultural experience, but it is not connected to the Komodo sailing routes, nor is it part of the itineraries we specialise in.

If you are interested in Wae Rebo, your best option is to book it independently after returning from the cruise or through a Flores based overland company. Our focus remains on delivering a high quality Komodo sailing experience, so we keep our tours separate for safety, timing and logistical reasons.
