The main airport for Komodo National Park is Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, officially called Komodo International Airport (LBJ). It is located on the western tip of Flores Island and is the only realistic gateway for reaching the national park.
Flights arrive daily from Bali, Lombok, Jakarta, and several other Indonesian cities, which makes Labuan Bajo the starting point for nearly all cruises. Once you land, our team picks you up or meets you at the harbor so you can board your phinisi and begin your trip.
If you’re coming from our Mt. Rinjani trek on Lombok, we can help you connect directly to a Lombok to Labuan Bajo flight, which is often the easiest route for hikers continuing onward to Komodo.
