Is drinking water included or do I need to bring my own water on a Komodo cruise?

Yes, drinking water is included on Komodo cruises, and you do not need to bring your own. All reputable boats provide unlimited mineral water throughout the trip, usually available from a dispenser in the dining area or common deck. Guests can refill their bottles anytime, which keeps everyone hydrated during snorkelling, hikes, and long hours under the sun.

Most mid range and luxury phinisi boats, including Elrora and our partner vessels, supply plenty of cold and room temperature water. Crew members regularly check the dispenser and make sure it stays full, especially on hot days. This makes it easy to stay hydrated without carrying heavy water bottles from shore.

Bringing a reusable bottle is recommended. It helps reduce plastic waste and makes it easier for you to refill before hikes or snorkelling stops. The boats operate in a national park, so minimizing plastic is important for protecting the environment.

If you prefer flavored drinks or sports hydration powders, you can bring those with you, but standard drinking water is fully included and always available on board.
